Sushi Gelato

Sushi?!?!

NAWP! LOOK AGAIN! 🤯

It's GELATO!!!

This restaurant offers much more than your average Gelato. They recommend exquisite flavors that will hopefully suit your taste. For example, the flavor, Grapefruit Soju *I won't mention any further to get you surprised*.

But we didn't go there for JUST that! We had to try the GELATO SUSHI!

A variety of flavors are available for you to choose:

- Mango Nigiri

- Strawberry Nigiri

- Lychee Raspberry

- Sesame Roll

- Miso and White Chocolate

- Wasabi Chocolate and Caramel

- Raspberry & White Chocolate Maki

- Caramel & Black Sesame Gunkan

Unfortunately, the Raspberry & White Chocolate Maki was sold out.

BUT we ordered every single one :P *yeah, don't do that. It was hella expensive*

Recommendations:

From my personal preference, I loved the Caramel & Black Sesame Gunkan. It was sweet with the right mixture of salty.

For people who like sorbets, Lychee Raspberry is NO DOUBT gonna be your fave. Delicious! Probably my second favorite gelato sushi out of the 7 we tried.

For a safer choice, you'd want to order the Nigiris. The Mango and Strawberry Nigiris are basic sweet gelatos with your choice of jam-like toppings wrapped with a tiny strip of chocolate fondant(seaweed). Take note that the jam-like (I'm not sure what it is) can be a lil sour. and the mango has a tiny ginger scent to it (but the scent ain't that strong).

Sesame Roll and Miso & White Chocolate Rolls oddly tastes similar to me. The only difference is that the Miso flavor gives out a salty and sour taste to the white chocolate. Other than that, tastes like gelato shaped like a roll with lotsa real sesame on its sides.

FINALLY. WHAT. SHOOK. US. ALL.

Wasabi Chocolate WAS DEFINITELY a memorable experience for us. We didn't really take note of the flavors when we ordered them so a spoonful of this. TERRIFIED the heck out us!

I'm NOT a big fan of chocolates and wasabi, so I shouldn't have ordered that in the first place. BUT I DID. BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW. Now, you do so you are warned!

Wasabi Chocolate is made out of *duh* wasabi and chocolate mixed together, wrapped in a thick chocolate fondant AND topped with citrus gelo-like things as "caviar". The outside is somewhat sweet, the inside was... surprising and the topping was sour. I didn't know how my taste buds understood what was happening in that one spectacular bite.
